Intro to Ashtanga (non-heated)

This class is designed for beginners, those with no yoga experience at all or those who have some yoga experience, but may not have much exposure to Ashtanga Yoga. You will be guided in a small, intimate setting, that allows for individual attention.
“Ashtanga” means “8-limbed method,” which includes a number of mind-body elements. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a set series with specific inhale and exhale for every movement which will improve health and wellbeing. You will be introduced to postures, breathing and concentrations practices, as well as deep relaxation. We will build upon the practice and gain a firm foundation on Ashtanga Yoga.
